2026 Come & Sing

In memory of her daughter, Clarissa, friend of the Festival Hilary Nicholls has commissioned three renowned composers - Cecilia McDowall, Joanna Forbes L’Estrange and Joanna Gill - to each compose a piece reflecting on different stages of Clarissa’s life. The pieces sit together in a triptych which we will be learning led by Festival Conductor Neil Ferris, with additional direction from the composers themselves who will each be there with us on the day. We will also be singing The Promise, the newest choral work by Will Todd. All music will be provided.

This exciting and unique event – an opportunity to sing works by four living composers - is a collaboration to deliver a project between Leith Hill Music Festival and Cardiac Risk in The Young. All proceeds from the day will be split equally between the two charities.

Registration from 9.30pm, singing between10am-4pm and the day will culminate with an informal performance. Friends and family are welcome to come along at 4.00pm to hear the performance - please purchase a £10 audience ticket.
